UID customer rewarded with iF gold award
The work performed by UID's Ellen Schenk and Vassilios Katsaros as part of the SAP Sports One Design team convinced the iF Award jury: SAP Sports ONE received the iF gold award 2017. We say: YEAH!
The SAP Sports One software organizes all processes carried out in soccer clubs - from planning training sessions to analyzing matches all the way to scouting and communicating within the team. All national league teams in Germany are working with this system and are using the cloud-based solution on various devices. SAP Sports One supports teams in increasing their performance and in reaching their sporting goals.
Together with our customer SAP, we laid the foundation for this success during our long-lasting cooperation: As a first step, we analyzed the requirements of the clubs, the players and the managers during on-site visits and in interviews. Together with the SAP team, we developed concept and design. Ellen and Vassilios also support the system's implementation in ongoing UX consulting projects. And these efforts were crowned with success, as was confirmed by our customer: "It has been great fun working with you. Your wide-ranging expertise was key to bringing SAP Sports One to a new level, and you have achieved impressing and sustainable results that are visible in the product."
And this is what the jury says about the joint efforts by UID and SAP: "This SAP-designed platform will change the way soccer (football) is played. (...) It is a professional, playful and graphically superb solution."
We are extremely proud to be working with SAP and overjoyed about the award!
